Stirfried crispy potatoes strips with abalone sauce RecipePrint This
- 2 big potatoes, julienned and soak in salt water (half tbspn)for 10minutes
- 100g bean sprouts
- 3 red chillies, deseed, julienned
- 100g sliced pork
- 1 tbspn abalone sauce
- 2 tbspn minced garlic
SLICED PORK MARINADE:
- 1/2 tspn sesame oil
- 1 tspn xiao hsing wine
- 1/2 tspn salt
- 1 tspn light soy sauce
- 2 dashes ground white pepper
- 1 tspn cornstarch
Notes : Add in 20ml water near the end of cooking, and let it reduce a little if gravy is preferred.
Heat 2 tbspn olive oil in wok over high heat Sear meat for 30 seconds, turn heat to medium then add in minced garlic.
Toss in potatoes, red chillies and bean sprouts Stir fry for 1 minute.
Turn to low heat and add in abalone sauce Mix well, cover pot and turn off heat.
Let it sweat for 30 seconds. Serve hot with bowl of white rice
