Manuka Glazed Pork Belly RecipePrint This
- Pork Belly 150g sliced thinly
- 1 Tspn Light Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbspn Oyster Sauce
- 1/8 Tspn Dark Soy Sauce
- 5 Tbspn Manuka Honey
- 2 Tbspn Chicken Stock
- 1/8 Tspn Balsamic Vinegar
For Pan Frying:
- 1 Tbspn Minced Ginger
- 2 Cloves Thinly Sliced Garlic
- Roasted Sesame Seeds
Mix all ingredients for sauce. Set aside.
Heat pan with some oil over high heat, sear meat with minced ginger for 2 minutes and then add slice garlic, sear for another 1 minute.
Discard garlic slices (before it turns bitter and affect flavour of meat and honey)
Add in sauce mixture, immediately turn heat to low. Simmer sauce to reduce, with meat until it has been nicely coated. Becareful not to burn the sauce.
When sauce has reduced and meat is beautifully glazed, turn off heat and drizzle sesame seed onto meat.
Serve hot with rice or lettuce wrap
