Chuan Hiap Hin soy sauce has a very distinctive aromatic flavour which by far, no one branded soy sauce in supermarket’ rack has given me. It’s taste is so rich, it contributes in making a distinctive dish.
As a result, this soy sauce brand is the most stocked up in my pantry. 😁 It’s glass packaging is the only thing I have to complain about, that’s because my butter fingers has caused a few occasions of shattering them onto kitchen floor. You can only imagine the time and effort I have to put into cleaning the mess. 😂 Lessons learnt, and I’ve finally transferred it into a smaller NON GLASS dispenser for ease at cooking.
I came across this soy sauce brand during my marketing at Cheng San Market, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10. You will find two Chinese dried food grocery stores there, selling this product.
Chuan Hiap Hin soy sauce prices hiked from $5.30 to now $5.80, for one standard size bottle of 640ml.
I tried sorting for this soy sauce at a few other markets in Singapore but seems, it isn’t widely available. However, you can contact their company, to enquire on this brand’ products if you are interested. Here’s their contact details :

Soy sauce is such a wonderful seasoning I can not imagine living without. Especially when I’ve found the best in Chuan Hiap Hin’. Perhaps someday I should try out their other products too.
