It’s a pleasant evening at East Coast Park, we brought our kids there for bike ride and playground to burn their energy. Then we get so hungry and head straight to Babalicious for dinner.
In Babalicious, they have a long list of Nyonya’s dishes. We saw tables around us having some of the restaurant recommended spicy dishes. All of which looks so tempting!
We looked at our kids, then agreed to place non-spicy orders to share with them.😁
Ngor Hiang – Beancurd skin wrapped with minced chicken, prawns, waterchesnut & carrot. Deep fried to perfection & served with sweet sauce & chilli. This is our favourite, very crispy outer layer and tender juicy meat. Every bite is so addictive when it’s dipped into the sauce.
Nyonya fried rice – Rice stir fried in vegetables, calamari & prawns. Garnished with fried anchovies. We have to opt the special sambal out. I wonder how it would be with their special sambal added in, because the one we had is quite a delish too.
Sambal Kangkong – Stir fried Morning Glory. Again, we asked for the non-spicy version. It’s taste savoury. However, I prefer the version with sambal. Without, there’s no “kick”!
There is kids’ play area, my girls still get to enjoy playing while waiting for our orders.
And of course, adults get to surf, with free wifi provided to diners. We were given a 20% discount with their on-going dinner promotion.
